Light Painting
These are my every own light painting picture they I have took, I have tried it many times just to get the ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed. I was in a group with; Chantay, Amina, Max, Kai and Joseph. As you can see I have tried it many times so I could get the students focused and so you can see the light clearly. We all tried different shapes and patterns.
Experiments...
I have connected the DSLR camera with the tripod so that it is totally still when the long exposing is happening. Then I have changed the setting and put the camera into manual mode and selected various shutter speeds ranging from 10 to 30 seconds. I tried different speeds and tried flashing the light at different angles so I could experiment and see which ones comes out properly.

Light Painting...
Light painting is a photograph in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera.
History...
Mili’s creation of photoflash photography work was just his first gift to the light painting world. In the 1940’s Gjon attached small lights to the boots of ice skaters he then opened the shutter of his camera and created what would be the inspiration for some of the most famous light painting images ever created.
Alexey Titarenko
He began taking his picture at the beginning of 1970s, and he came a member of the well-known Leningrad photographic club Zerkalo, where he had his first solo exhibition at 1978. By using a different type of lens he would create an absolute amazing image within less than a minute or so. He probably has taken this image by placing the camera near a train station where when the train arrives everyone will run towards - this is probably an image that reflects to that.
Harold Edgerton
Harold Edgerton had made his mark as an expert in high-speed photography. Plus in 1931 doctoral dissertation included a motion picture of a motor lit by a strobe light.

Experiments...
First we took several pictures of a bat and ball bouncing making an ark shape.
This picture that Chantay has taken it was her first attempt. The picture wasn't focused on the main object and the aperture was slow and the lighting was more aimed at me than the actual object.
This picture was our second attempt that didn't got that well, i think the shutter was too fast or it could be that the drop of the ball was too slow or another thing could be that the strobe wasnt angled on the ball.
This was our third attempt this also didn't go as well than the first one. Also in this picture the strobe wasn't angled on the bat and ball when taking the picture.
This one was our final attempt that went really well. I think Chantay done a really good job when focusing on the main object (the bat and ball) and this time the aperture was in the right speed
More Light Painting...
Thought of experimenting more light paiting in the studio with Jasmine. Creating different designs with the light from last time.
